Pohrhi (“we”, “our”, “the platform”) is a private, invite-only collaborative storytelling platform currently in testing. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how it is stored, and your rights regarding that data.

By creating an account, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described here.

2. Data We Collect

Account Information (via Clerk)

Email address
Display name / username (screen name)
Profile picture (avatar URL)
Country (optional, if you provide it)

Content You Create

Stories you write (title, description)
Chapters you author (title, content, word count)
Stories you like (like relationship stored)

Automatically Collected

Page views and performance metrics (Vercel Analytics — anonymised)
Error reports and stack traces (Sentry — includes user ID for debugging)
Session cookies (managed by Clerk)

3. How We Use Your Data

To authenticate you and manage your account
To display your stories and chapters on the platform
To moderate content for safety (text via OpenAI, images via AWS Rekognition)
To improve platform performance and fix bugs

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in Supabase PostgreSQL databases hosted on AWS infrastructure. Story images are stored in Supabase Storage. All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. We implement rate limiting, input validation, and content moderation to protect the platform and its users.

6. Data Retention

Your account data is retained for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, all associated data — including stories, chapters, and likes — is permanently deleted within 30 days. Moderation logs (which do not contain personally identifying content) may be retained for up to 90 days for safety purposes.

7. Cookies

We use the following cookies:

Session cookies — Set by Clerk to keep you logged in. Required for the platform to function.
Analytics — Vercel Analytics uses privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics by default.
Invite cookie — A temporary cookie (__invite_pending) set when you click an invite link, deleted after account activation.

8. Your Rights

Access — You can view all your stories and chapters on your profile page.
Correction — You can update your display name and avatar via your account settings.
Deletion — You can delete your account from your profile settings. This permanently removes all your data.
Export — Contact us to request an export of your content.

9. Beta Disclaimer

Pohrhi is currently in private beta testing. While we take data protection seriously, the platform does not yet have uptime guarantees. In the event of a major incident, data from the testing period may be reset. We will notify users by email before any such action.
