Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Pohrhi (“the platform”, “we”, “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These terms apply to all users, including testers during the private beta phase.

2. Invite-Only Access

Pohrhi is currently invitation-only. Access requires a valid invite code sent by an administrator. Invite codes are personal and non-transferable. Sharing your invite link with unintended recipients may result in account suspension.

3. Content Ownership

You own your content. Stories and chapters you write remain your intellectual property. By publishing content on Pohrhi, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, store, and distribute your content to other users of the platform.

Forked content. When you fork a story (add a branch chapter to someone else's story), you own the new chapters you write. The original author retains ownership of their chapters. The collaborative nature of the platform means branches build on existing work with the original author's implicit consent.

AI-generated images. Cover images and chapter illustrations are generated by third-party AI services (Replicate/FLUX). You acknowledge that these images are AI-generated and their ownership is subject to Replicate's terms of service.

No AI training. We will not use your written content to train AI models.

4. Content Policy

Pohrhi is a teen-safe platform. The following content is prohibited:

  • Sexually explicit content or content sexualising minors
  • Graphic gore or gratuitous violence beyond narrative context
  • Hate speech, discrimination, or content targeting individuals/groups
  • Instructions for self-harm or content glorifying suicide
  • Impersonation of real people or other users
  • Spam, commercial promotion, or scraped/plagiarised content
  • Any content illegal under applicable law

The following is permitted within narrative context:

  • Mystery, thriller, and crime stories including deaths and investigations
  • War and conflict narratives
  • Dark themes and morally complex characters
  • Mild violence that serves the story

All content is subject to automated moderation. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban at our sole discretion.

5. Acceptable Use

  • Do not attempt to circumvent rate limits, moderation, or access controls
  • Do not scrape, crawl, or bulk-download content from the platform
  • Do not use the platform to distribute malware or phishing links
  • Do not attempt to access other users' accounts or private data
  • Use the platform only for its intended purpose: collaborative storytelling

6. Beta Disclaimer

Pohrhi is in private beta. The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, data preservation, or feature availability. We may reset data, change features, or take the platform offline at any time. We will notify testers by email before any significant changes.

7. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your content may be retained in anonymised form or deleted, at our discretion.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pohrhi and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including loss of content, data, or access.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. We will notify active users by email of material changes.
